We are heading closer to the finish line of the school year, and there are so many exciting things happening at Jefferson Middle School!
🧠 Testing Schedule Update
We have had to make a change to our SBA and MAP testing schedule. Please see the updated testing dates below:

Math MAP: May 18th

ELA SBA: May 20 & 21

Math SBA: May 27
These assessments are an important opportunity for students to show their learning. Attendance, rest, and a healthy breakfast make a big difference in student success, and we appreciate your support during testing season!
📚 Yearbook Sales
Yearbook sales will be available starting May 15th through the OSD Payment Portal or in the office with Ms. Nolan. Yearbook cost will be $20.00. Be sure to purchase a yearbook so your student can remember all the great memories from this school year!
🐾 Rising 6th Grade Night
Jefferson Middle School is excited to invite all incoming 6th graders and their families to our Rising 6th Grade Night on Wednesday, May 13th from 6:00–7:30 PM.
Families will meet in the Jefferson Main Gym to begin the evening. During the event, families will have the opportunity to:
- Meet some of our JMS staff members
- Connect with our Jag Crew student leaders
- Take guided school tours
- Learn about classes, activities, and athletics
- Ask questions about middle school life at Jefferson
This is a great opportunity for students and families to become familiar with the building and start getting excited about joining the Jaguar family!
We look forward to welcoming our future Jaguars!
🏃 6th Grade Track Registration is Open!
Registration for 6th grade track students is now open! Families can register online through Final Forms.
Please remember that students must have an updated physical on file before they are able to participate.
📅 No School Reminder
There will be no school on May 22nd and May 25th.
